Humaira Zafari is a Masters of Science student at Arizona State University (ASU). She holds a Bachelor of Art from Asian University for Women (AUW). Humaira worked as a Program Associate with Qaraa Management and Consulting Services with the partnership of United State Institute of Peace (USIP). She has directly worked with the following USIP projects, Peacebuilders Afghanistan and District Peace Vision Dialogue (DPVD), where she worked with a team of five and reached out to 62 districts and mobilized 1560 women and men Peacebuilder through out the country. The Peacebuilders Afghanistan offered support, coordination, and follow-up services for 81 Peacebuilding and Conflict Resolution activities. Prior to joining Qaraa, Humaira worked at Milken Institute as an Events and Communication Intern. During her internship, Humaira was responsible for assisting in a number of projects related to the Milken Institute Asia Center’s ongoing work. She assisted with the communications and social media planning and outreach of Asia Summit 2020 event.
