Lorie Tekorius is President and Chief Executive Officer of The Greenbrier Companies, Inc. (NYSE:GBX), and has served as a member of the Board of Directors for the Company since 2022. Ms. Tekorius joined Greenbrier in 1995 and has served in various management roles of increasing responsibility. Ms. Tekorius was Senior Vice President and Treasurer from 2012 until she became CFO in February 2016 and Executive Vice President in April 2017. She was named COO in 2018 and President in 2019, prior to becoming CEO in 2022.
A graduate of Texas A&M University, Ms. Tekorius is a Certified Public Accountant. In addition to her Board service with Greenbrier, she serves on the Board of Alamo Group, Inc. (NYSE:ALG). In 2020, the Manufacturing Institute recognized her as a STEP Ahead honoree. In 2018, she was named a Railway Age "Woman in Rail." As CFO, she was recognized as Oregon's 2017 CFO of the Year by the Portland Business Journal (PBJ). In the same year, the PBJ awarded her with the Women of Influence recognition. Ms. Tekorius serves as President of the Council of Trustees of the Providence St. Vincent Medical Foundation. Ms. Tekorius lives in Portland, Oregon with her spouse, Danius.
