Robert Pittman is chairman and CEO of iHeartMedia Inc. (formerly Clear Channel), parent of iHeartMedia -- which has the largest reach of any radio or television outlet in America with almost a quarter of a billion U.S. broadcast radio listeners and 97 million monthly unique visitors for iHeartMedia Digital -- and Clear Channel Outdoor, with 750,000 displays in over 40 countries. Pittman led the team that created MTV and was CEO of MTV Networks, AOL Networks, Six Flags Theme Parks, Quantum Media, Century 21 Real Estate and Time Warner Enterprises. He was also chief operating officer of America Online Inc. and then AOL Time Warner. Pittman is a founding member of Pilot Group LLC, a New York private investment firm. Among many honors, he received AdWeek's first Media Visionary award and the Robert F. Kennedy Ripple of Hope Award. Pittman was inducted into the Advertising Hall of Fame and the Broadcasting and Cable Hall of Fame and was named one of Advertising Age's "10 Marketers Who Changed American Culture."
