Steven Geller is a Managing Director of Credit Suisse within the Investment Banking & Capital Markets (IBCM) division, based in New York. He is the firm’s global co-head of M&A and the global head of technology M&A.Mr. Geller has advised both multinational and domestic clients on numerous, complex M&A assignments in transactions valued at over US$400 billion, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, spin-offs, joint ventures, special committee assignments, dual-class, and targeted stock plans, proxy contests, and hostile transactions. Notable transactions include the $70 billion acquisition of TCI by AT&T, the $43 billion sale of Worldpay to FIS, the $35 billion acquisition of Xilinx by AMD, the $17 billion acquisition of Freescale Semiconductor by a consortium of private equity firms, the $16 billion merger between NXP and Freescale, the $16 billion acquisition of Linear Technologies by Analog Devices, the $10 billion acquisition of Cypress Semiconductor by Infineon, and the $7 billion sale of Coherent to II-VI.Mr. Geller joined the Bank in 1994. He holds a degree from Duke University where he studied economics and Japanese.
