Chairman of Private Investment Business, Two Sigma

J. Tomilson Hill is a Managing Director at Two Sigma, Chief Executive Officer of Two Sigma Real Estate, and Chairman of Two Sigma’s private investments business, which includes Two Sigma Impact, Two Sigma Ventures, Two Sigma Real Estate, and Sightway Capital. Prior to joining Two Sigma in January 2019, Mr. Hill was the President and CEO of Blackstone Alternative Asset Management and Vice Chairman of Blackstone Group where he served as a member of the Board of Directors. Mr. Hill is a graduate of Harvard College and the Harvard Business School. He is Chairman Emeritus of the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden in Washington, D.C., and currently serves on the Investment Committee of the Smithsonian Institution. He is Chairman of the Board of Trustees at the Guggenheim Museum. He also serves on the Executive Committee and the Board of Directors of the Peterson Institute for International Economics, the Board of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Telluride Foundation, the Advantage Testing Foundation, the Friends of the High Line, Lincoln Center Theater, and Our Lady Queen of Angels School, a parochial school (K-8th grade) in Spanish Harlem. He is a member of the Advisory Board of Christie’s and a member of the Board of Directors of First Eagle Investment Management, Advantage Testing, Inc., and Gagosian Gallery, Inc. In 2015 Mr. Hill created the Hill Art Foundation in Chelsea (NYC) to provide artists a venue to create exhibitions where they are encouraged to experiment and take risks in showing their work in new ways.
