Mia Tretta

Activist

Mia Tretta was shot with a .45 caliber ghost gun in the 2019 Saugus Shooting, and her best friend was killed next to her, after the shooting, she started advocating for Gun Violence prevention. She has worked with many grassroots organizations such as Everytown For Gun Safety, Students Demand Action, Team Enough, Sandy Hook Promise, March For Our Lives, Newtown Action Alliance, and Voters Of Tomorrow. Her advocacy has brought her all the way to the Whitehouse to introduce President Biden in the Rose Garden, during the 2022 National Ghost Gun Regulation Announcement. She leads a Students Demand group of over 175 people, she’s on the Students Demand Action National Advisory Board, and the Team Enough Executive Council, she’s the political engagement coordinator for Voters Of Tomorrow, is a Fellow through the Everytown Survivor Network, and is on the White House Youth Council.
