Angela Rodell is the Founder/Principal of Rodell Consulting, dedicated to providing expert guidance to institutions seeking to improve their overall performance by developing strategies that are in alignment with their unique goals and values. She also serves as staff to Senator Cathy Giessel, the Alaska Senate Majority Leader, working on major energy policy initiatives. Ms Rodell is serving as Board Advisor to the CEO for Pepper, an industry-leading investment enterprise solution for alternative assets while also serving on several non-profit boards including Immediate Past President of the Pacific Pension & Investment Institute, Chair of the Board for Launch Alaska and volunteer member of the Investment Committee for the Alaska Community Foundation. From 2015 through 2021, Ms Rodell served as Chief Executive Officer for the Alaska Permanent Fund Corporation, a state-owned asset management company, responsible for managing the Alaska Permanent Fund. Before becoming CEO, Ms Rodell served as Alaska’s Commissioner of Revenue, responsible for building the State’s financial position, securing needed funding for State pension funds, overhauling the State’s oil and gas production tax. From 1996 through 2011, Ms Rodell served as an investment banker specializing in US municipal finance. Ms Rodell has a BA from Marquette University and a MPA from the University of Kentucky.
