Derick Nwasor is leading the charge in revolutionizing and domesticating PEM hydrogen fuel cell technologies in Nigeria. With a background in Physics and a passion for Type I Civilization energy, Derick spearheads the innovative "Just Add Water" project at the Catalysis Centre of King Abdullah University of Science & Technology, Saudi Arabia, a project that recycles household dirty greywater to generate electricity, clean water, and oxygen for hospitals. His expertise in electrocatalysis and commitment to lighting up Nigeria drive the development of cutting-edge solutions. Nwasor is building a hydrogen reactor for on-demand hydrogen production for vehicles and devices that will be used in every city and home in the world. With seven years of collaborative experience and a relentless pursuit of these ideas, he co-founded Newdigit Technologies to make this a reality, earning recognition as a finalist and awardee for the prestigious Milken Motsepe Prize in Green Energy.
