Elad Gil is CEO of Gil Capital, and early investor or advisor to key technology companies such as AirBnB, Airtable, Anduril, Coinbase, Deel, Figma, Gitlab, Gusto, Instacart, Notion, Pinterest, Retool, Rippling, Samsara, Square, Stripe. Gil was also an early investor in generative AI including Perplexity, Character, Mistral, Pika, Harvey and other AI companies. Elad is a serial entrepreneur who started two companies - Color Health, and MixerLabs (acquired by Twitter, where Elad was VP Corporate Strategy). More recently, he helped incubate and start Braintrust, a broadly used AI enterprise tooling company. Gil was a product and operating executive at Twitter and Google. At both he ran AI centric product organizations, while at Twitter, in addition to AI products such as search, Gil also ran functions such as M&A and corporate strategy. Elad is an advisor to Electric Capital, a crypto hedge fund, and is involved with various crypto protocols and companies (Coinbase, Opensea, Anchorage, Bitwise, Filecoin, dYdX, IronFish…). He is also involved with longevity biotech including BioAge and Spring Discovery. Gil also worked at McKinsey & Co and received a Ph.D. from MIT and BS and BA in Math from UCSD.
