Transitioning from the automotive sector to academia, Dr. Wilson now focuses on developing transformative technologies that promote energy access across Africa. His work is exemplified by the Aftrak project, a ground-breaking socioeconomic initiative that provides communities with access to green energy, mechanized agriculture, and the tools to significantly increase agricultural yields and profitability. Through Aftrak and other innovations, Dr. Wilson is dedicated to enhancing sustainable practices and uplifting rural economies.
