Karen Kornbluh was Ambassador to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, the global economic standards organization in Paris. She served as Barack Obama’s Senate policy director and in senior positions at both the US Treasury Department and Federal Communications Commission. She began her career as an Economist at Townsend-Greenspan and was an Executive Vice President of global data firm Nielsen. Kornbluh is a recognized thought leader on economic policy and appears widely in the media. She is Distinguished Fellow for Technology and Competitiveness at the German Marshall Fund and a Senior Advisor to the Milken Institute. She also chairs the board of Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, serves on the Maryland Economic Commission, and is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, where she was the Senior Fellow for Digital Policy.
