Mariano Rojas

Mariano Rojas is a Costa Rican economist; he is professor at Mexico's Technological Institute. He is an expert in happiness economics and quality of life. He has written many books and academic papers on happiness and well-being. He coordinated the Latin American initiative on Measuring the Progress of Societies, and acted as President of the International Society for Quality-of-Life Studies. His current research focuses on identifying conditions that promote a sustainable and high well-being society.
