Van formerly managed public equities for Blue Pool Capital. Blue Pool Capital is a large Multi-Strategy Investment Manager, with internal Hedge fund, Private Equity and Fund of Funds teams, based in Hong Kong. He now advisees that business on economics, geopolitics, and public market strategy under his advisory firm Blue Gulf Capital, based in Dubai. Prior to working at Blue Pool Capital, Van worked for Tudor Capital in Singapore from 2006-2009 and for Tudor Investment corporation in the United States between 2004-2006. Van graduated from Yale University in 2004.
