Aly is currently the Head of M&A, North America at Deutsche Bank. Aly has over 20 years of strategic advisory experience across all sectors. In his most recent roles, Aly has advised large cap and growth clients across TMT with a focus on the Media and Entertainment sector. Over his career, Aly has advised on a variety of domestic and cross-border buy-side and sell-side transactions as well as other complex M&A situations. Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, Aly was Head of Media investment banking at UBS and spent 16 years at Citi. Aly is on the Board, and was previously Vice Chairman, of Education Through Music, a non-profit focused on music education with a purpose of restoring music education programs back to New York inner city schools. Aly also serves as the President of the Ismaili Council for the Northeast where he supports the community on social initiatives spanning the areas of health, resettlement, economic planning, youth and education. Aly resides in New York City with his wife and two children.
