
Andrew Mulderry is the Chief Investment Officer of Willett Advisors, which manages the philanthropic assets of Michael R. Bloomberg, including those of Bloomberg Philanthropies. He leads the firm’s investment strategy across both public and private markets, overseeing a portfolio that includes externally managed funds as well as direct investments. Before joining Willett, Andrew worked in private equity at Thomas H. Lee Partners and Alta Communications, following an early career as an investment banking analyst at Morgan Stanley. He holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Virginia and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. He lives in Rye, New York with his wife, Kelly, and their four children. Outside of his professional role, Andrew is actively involved in several nonprofit and educational organizations. He founded and oversees the Stephen Mulderry Memorial Fund, a nonprofit created in memory of his brother, Stephen, who was lost on 9/11. He also serves on the national board of the Posse Foundation, which provides college scholarships to exceptional high school students, and is a board member of the University of Virginia Investment Management Company.
