Anja Sharma is a Managing Director and Head of Infrastructure Loan Syndicate & Distribution within MUFG’s Capital Markets Group. Anja is a seasoned capital markets executive with over 20 years of experience in the US Loan Markets. She leads the distribution of complex project finance and infrastructure transactions across both the pro rata and institutional debt markets. She plays a pivotal role as syndicate lead on MUFG’s flagship mandates, with a focus on energy transition, digital infrastructure, and transportation sectors. Anja’s expertise spans across primary and secondary markets, and she is an active member of MUFG’s Project Finance Portfolio Committee, helping shape the firm’s strategy on liquidity trends and balance sheet deployment. Prior to joining MUFG, she held senior roles at Citadel Securities and DZ BANK and began her career at Deutsche Bank. Anja holds an MBA from Georg-Simon-Ohm University in Germany and is a CFA charterholder.
