
Anna Murray is Senior Managing Director, Global Head of Sustainable Investing at Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan (Ontario Teachers'), where she supports the fund’s long-term strategy. Working closely with senior leaders and investment teams, Anna oversees Ontario Teachers' approach to managing sustainability-related risks, opportunities, and reputational considerations in line with the fund’s fiduciary obligations. Her responsibilities include leading the climate and transition strategy, overseeing corporate governance and stewardship activities including proxy voting and public company engagements, and integrating sustainability across the investment lifecycle. Anna sits on the Board of Directors for the Investor Leadership Network and the Responsible Investment Association and serves on the Public Policy Committee for the Canadian Coalition for Good Governance, the S&P Global Sustainable1 Investor Client Council, and the Advisory Board of Osgoode Hall Law School's ESG, Climate Risk & the Law Certificate. Anna is the Founder of the non-profit Young Women in Energy and has held leadership roles including Co-Chair of the PRI Real Estate Advisory Committee and the Environmental Committee at PREA, as well as board positions at the Canadian Green Building Council and True North Commercial REIT. Her recognitions include Canada’s Top 100 Women, Clean50, Top 40 Under 40, 50 Influencers in Sustainable Private Markets, and the Making a Difference for Women Award. She holds both an MBA and a law degree, with a focus on environmental justice and sustainability.
