Ashley Tyrner-Dolce is the founder and CEO of FarmboxRx, a groundbreaking company that revolutionized the healthcare industry. FarmboxRx offers dynamic and scalable Food as Engagement programs aimed at empowering health plan members to take charge of their health based on their individual needs, ultimately leading to better health outcomes. Ashley’s journey with FarmboxRx began nearly 15 years ago, driven by her experiences as a single Latina mother living in a food desert and relying on food stamps. She believes that everyone, regardless of their socioeconomic background, deserves fair and equal access to nutritious food and healthcare. Ashley has played a key role in transforming the concept of "Food as Medicine" into "Food as Engagement" through the FarmboxRx platform. Her vision and leadership have significantly contributed to reducing health disparities and food insecurity for vulnerable populations across the country. Recognized as a pioneer and expert in food policy, Ashley worked with Sam Kass during the Obama administration, contributing to Michelle Obama’s “Let’s Move!” campaign, and developed pilot programs for SNAP/EBT with the USDA. Under Ashley’s leadership, FarmboxRx has established partnerships with major health plans nationwide, contributing to improved member retention and growth, cost savings, and increased member satisfaction. Ashley’s expertise, and ability to create meaningful change for health plan members has captured the attention of prominent media outlets such as The Wall Street Journal, TIME, The Today Show, CBS Mornings, Forbes, and Inc.
