As Treasurer and Chief Investment Officer for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona (BCBSAZ), Cameron is responsible for the cash and investment portfolios of BCBSAZ and its subsidiaries including the insurance general account, retirement plan assets, a captive insurer and a Foundation. In addition, he oversees corporate risk management efforts. Prior to joining BCBSAZ, Cameron was with the Translational Genomics Research (TGEN) Foundation in Phoenix. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP). Mr. Black also sits on the investment committees of the Arizona State University and the Flinn Foundation. He is a past president of the Phoenix CFA Society.
