Edwin Wilches, CFA, is a Managing Director and Co-Head of PGIM Fixed Income’s Securitized Products team which includes public and private markets. Mr. Wilches oversees securitized product security selection across the Firm’s fixed income investment strategies and is also a portfolio manager for CLO, securitized product, and credit income strategies. Additionally, Mr. Wilches oversees the Firm’s private asset-based finance (ABF) platform. Mr. Wilches is an active member in multiple trade associations across the US and European markets seeking to represent our client’s best interests and to help promote a functioning market structure. He also plays an active leadership role in PGIM’s employee affinity groups and is a member of PGIM’s Latinx Executive Leadership Team. Prior to his current responsibilities, Mr. Wilches was responsible for managing and trading the Firm's investments in CLO tranches and supporting the Dryden CLO platform. Earlier, Mr. Wilches was a member of the CDO analyst team, business and product development team and fixed income operations team. Mr. Wilches joined the Firm in 2003. He received a BA in Economics from Rutgers University, an MBA from New York University and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
