Owen M. Wurzbacher is the Chief Investment Officer at HighSage Ventures. Prior to his current role, Mr. Wurzbacher worked at Amazon in the Corporate Development group, as an Investment Analyst at Highfields Capital Management, and as an Analyst at The Blackstone Group. He is currently a director of ZoomInfo Technologies. Mr. Wurzbacher is a mentor at Year Up, serves on the Advisory Board for UP Education Network, and is actively involved with other education-related causes. Mr. Wurzbacher received an M.B.A from Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar and the winner of the Alexander A. Robichek Award for Outstanding Achievement in Finance. While at Stanford, he also received an M.A. in Education. He graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University, receiving an A.B. in Biology with a minor in Economics. At Harvard, he was the captain of the Men’s Varsity Swimming Team. He lives in Boston, MA with his wife Hillary, their two children, and their Bernese Mountain dog Ruth.
