Howe is Managing Director and Head of Asian Fixed Income at Principal Asset Management. He oversees and manages regional fixed income portfolio management, research and trading team in Asia.Prior to Principal, Howe was Director and Head of Asian Fixed Income at Amundi Asset Management and before that a portfolio manager of emerging markets at Standish Mellon Asset Management. Prior to Standish Mellon, Howe was Lead Portfolio Manager, Global Fixed Income at the Monetary Authority of Singapore, based in London and Singapore. He started his career in the Singapore Ministry of Trade and Industry based in China, with a focus on trade relations with Asian countries.Howe received a Master of Science in Aeronautics and Astronautics from Stanford University, and a Bachelor of Science with double majors in Mechanical Engineering and Economics from Carnegie Mellon University.
