She has covered major events such as the 20th Party Congress, the Communist Party’s 100th anniversary, and the deadly 2021 Henan floods, as well as done deep dives into China’s central region, northeast rust belt economy and the country’s evolving COVID-19 policies. Her coverage extends beyond China to regional issues, including North Korea, where she was among a select group of journalists invited to report from Pyongyang in 2018.
