Adolfo Babatz is the Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Clip, the leading payment provider for SMBs in Mexico and a pioneer in the country's tech ecosystem. Distinguished by its unique brand and service visible throughout Mexico, Clip is recognized as the first company to introduce Silicon Valley investments to Mexico and as one of the nation's leading startups. Mr. Babatz holds a BA in Business from ITAM (Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México) and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management. Adolfo is married to his wife, Lola, and they have three children: Marina, Federico, and Catalina. Before founding Clip, Mr. Babatz held various positions at PayPal. Initially, he led the team that launched PayPal in Mexico, subsequently becoming the Customer Engagement and New Product Development Manager for PayPal Latin America. In 2016, his alma mater, ITAM, awarded him the Professional Merit Award in recognition of his contributions to the country's entrepreneurial ecosystem. In 2017, he received the Entrepreneur of the Year Award from Endeavor. In 2014, Adolfo was one of the recipients of Forbes' "30 Business Promises," and in 2023, he was honored with the “Business Excellence” award.
