Alejandra Vázquez Langle Nieto is a chemical engineer with a master’s degree in Social Responsibility and extensive training in specialized diplomas. She has 24 years of experience at Grupo Bimbo. Throughout her career, she has held various roles focused on sustainability at Grupo Bimbo. She currently serves as the Global Sustainability Director, driving projects that generate a positive impact across the company’s entire value chain. Her leadership has been key to the success of Grupo Bimbo’s strategic plan and its commitments, which were accomplished through the collaboration of multidisciplinary teams. Additionally, she has designed and led the strategy for waste and materials management, water, and energy efficiency, and has developed cross-cutting initiatives that strengthen the company’s value chain. With experience in environmental legal compliance and environmental certifications at both local and international levels, Alejandra has been fundamental in developing and implementing Grupo Bimbo’s sustainability path in the 35 countries where the company operates.
