Mateo Goldman is Senior Vice President for Investments at the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation, responsible for helping manage DFC’s investments across each of its business lines. Prior to his role as SVP, Mateo held other senior management roles at DFC including as the head of its equity and investment fund program. Before joining the DFC, Mateo was the General Counsel of GPI Capital, a New York based private equity fund manager, where he was a founding member of its investment team and responsible for all aspects of the legal and regulatory affairs of the firm’s global investment activity. Prior to joining GPI Capital in 2016, Mateo was Counsel at BTG Pactual, covering the U.S. and international legal aspects of the bank’s private equity funds and investment bank. Mateo also served as a corporate Associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom in New York, where he focused on cross-border finance, capital markets and M&A transactions for the firm’s international and U.S. clients.
