Richard Ditizio is the CEO of the Milken Institute, responsible for all pillars and departments across the organization's global footprint. Under his leadership, the Institute expanded its staff and programmatic work to Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and Latin America. He joined the Institute after a 25-year career in banking, most recently serving as CEO of Citi Private Bank. Prior to that, Ditizio ran the North American UHNW practice for the bank, leading 24 offices across the United States and Canada. In these roles, he counseled clients on issues such as business succession, philanthropy, and the challenges of raising children amid great affluence. His work on UHNW families, DEI, corporate leadership, and philanthropy has been widely profiled in media outlets, including the Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, Lifestyles, CNBC, and Reuters, and he speaks around the world on these topics. A recipient of the NSFRE Corporate Executive Award, Ditizio has been involved with numerous nonprofit boards and charitable organizations throughout his career.
