Asma Al Hamiz is passionate about deepening the human potential, both on a personal and professional level. Her undergraduate degree is in Business Administration with a focus on financial services and banking. Asma began her professional career in 2004 covering hedge funds and alternative investments at InvestAD. In 2007, she moved to the Abu Dhabi Investment Council, where she focused on the hedged equity part of the Active Investment Strategies portfolio. In 2010, Asma obtained a Masters in Business Administration from the London Business School, focused on organizational behavior, strategy and leadership. In 2012, she took a leave of absence from her day-to-day responsibilities at ADIC and moved to the San Francisco Bay Area to join a graduate program to gain the theoretical and practical background to support her interest in psychology. In 2014, she obtained a Master's Degree in Psychology with a specialization in creative expression from The Institute of Transpersonal Psychology. She is currently working in the asset management field at the Emirates Investment Authority but continue to be involved in facilitating personal development and interpersonal psychology workshops.
