Khurram is Acting Chief Investment Officer at Osool, the investment company which manages assets on behalf of the Government of Bahrain's Social Insurance Funds. Khurram began his career in actuarial consulting over 25 years ago. He worked for Aviva Investors, within their portfolio risk function covering risk management and portfolio construction across all asset classes. In 2004, he relocated to the Kingdom of Bahrain to work for Investcorp Bank, within their placement team covering hedge fund investors across the GCC. Khurram joined Osool in 2013 as Head of Asset Allocation, and was promoted to Acting CIO in 2019. Khurram is a member of the Management Investment Committee at Osool and oversees the Asset Allocation, Public Investments, Private Investments, Strategic Investments and Performance Measurement teams. Khurram is a Fellow of the Institute & Faculty of Actuaries (London). He holds a BSc (Hons) Degree in Actuarial Science and an MSc Degree in Mathematical Trading and Finance, both from Cass Business School, University of London. Khurram is also a Board Member of SICO Investment Bank, a leading GCC investment bank based in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
