Millicent Wilner is Director of Gagosian, an international gallery specializing in modern and contemporary art with seventeen locations around the world. In her nearly twenty years at the gallery, Millicent has overseen exhibitions and art fairs worldwide and advises private individuals and institutions on building collections of modern and contemporary art. In addition to overseeing the gallery’s three London exhibition spaces and managing its program, sales team and strategic development, Millicent has curated numerous exhibitions on the work of Damien Hirst, has edited various books on the artist’s work and has served as an advisor to him on his worldwide museum exhibitions. Millicent sits on the Advisory Board of Gagosian as well as on its Exhibitions, Secondary Market and Art Fair committees. Prior to working at Gagosian, Millicent worked at Sotheby’s in New York and London, at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago and at Pace Gallery in New York and London. Millicent graduated Magna Cum Laude from Columbia College, Columbia University, New York with a concentration in French, Italian, German and Russian languages and literature.
