Neveen El Tahri has 40 years of financial and business experience. She graduated from the faculty of Economics & Political Science at Cairo University in 1980 and holds diplomas from Harvard Business School and London Business School. Neveen commenced her career in 1980 as a corporate banker with the Chase Manhattan Bank’s Egyptian JV, and as of 1992 commenced her journey as serial entrepreneur establishing numerous ventures in the financial sector. Neveen was the first elected woman to sit on the Board of the Egyptian Stock Exchange fin 1997, and a long list of firsts as a women board member. Over the past 25 years held board representation on numerous Public, Private and NGOs companies; mostly at turnaround or infrastructure phase. As of 2019 some of the boards she sits on are; Egyptian Sovereign Wealth Fund, BMLeasing, Orange Egypt, Hassan Allam Holding, Al Baraka Group for Investments, AUC Business School Strategic Advisory Board, Ajman University’s Advisory Board and MENARC Harvard Business School among others. She was numerously named and ranked on various platforms as one of the leading businesswomen in the Arab world winning many awards.
