Daniel Yang is the head of investment and diversification for the Algorand Foundation and is a member of the investment committee.‍Daniel is passionate and deeply involved with blockchain technology since 2016. In his previous role, he was an integral part of the Cumberland Asia team, a leading cryptocurrency trading firm in the space. In his previous life, Daniel worked in the institutional trading business for TD Bank, having managed and traded FX and Precious Metals products.‍He holds a Masters of Management Finance from Queens university in Canada and is a CFA Charterholder.‍In his free time, he follows religiously his hometown professional hockey team and enjoys the frosty feeling of playing ice hockey while living in the tropical climate of Singapore.
