Mr. Eric Bundugu is the Deputy Executive Director of the Rwandan Capital Market Authority (CMA Rwanda). He is responsible for leading the development and implementation of strategic and operational programs aimed at developing and deepening further the Rwandan capital market industry while ensuring the domestic stock market industry plays its enabling role towards achieving Rwanda’s transformation journey as well as enabling Rwanda to position itself as an international financial centre. Prior to joining CMA Rwanda, Mr. Bundugu served as the Advisor to the Minister of Finance and Economic Planning (Rwanda). Before joining the public sector, Bundugu served in the private sector. He worked for MTN Rwanda, the leading market operator in the telecommunications industry in Rwanda. He last served MTN Rwanda as its Business Process Management Officer with a mandate to lead the integration of the company’s business process management framework to support the competitiveness of MTN Rwanda products/services and its customer retention policies.Bundugu is an IFC-Milken Institute Fellow. He is a professional trained capital market expert, having completed the IFC-Milken Institute Capital Markets Program at the George Washington University as part of the program’s inaugural cohort. He holds an MBA in Finance from Oklahoma Christian University and an MBA in Project Management.
