Rajeev is CEO of SoftBank Investment Advisers (“SBIA"), which serves as the investment manager of SoftBank’s Vision Fund 1. He is also CEO of OneIM, a global alternative investment manager that invests across asset classes, industries and geographies. Rajeev formerly held a number of senior leadership roles at SoftBank Group Corp. including as Executive Vice President and SoftBank Group board member. During his tenure, he also played a critical role working alongside Masayoshi Son to raise, establish and manage the SoftBank Vision Funds.Prior to SoftBank, he was a Senior Managing Director and Partner at Fortress Investment Group. From 2009 to 2013, Rajeev served as the Global Head of Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities at UBS and from 1997 and 2008, as Global Head of Credit and Emerging Markets at Deutsche Bank, where he built a global fixed income business from scratch and recruited and mentored many employees. Rajeev is currently a Board Member of Fortress Investment Group, the University of Pennsylvania and MIT Sloan School of Management and is on the Board of Trustees of KAUST. He received a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
