Ben is a Senior Managing Director in Macquarie Asset Management’s (MAM’s) Solutions Group based in Sydney, Australia. He is responsible for leading the efforts to create investment products that provide an intentional, measurable, positive social impact while delivering financial returns to investors. Ben is primarily responsible for the specialist disability accommodation (SDA) business in Australia and Green Climate Fund initiatives globally. He has established one of the largest portfolios of purpose-built accommodation for people with disabilities in Australia and is deploying concessional capital to create an electric vehicle solutions platform in India. During his tenure with Macquarie, Ben has been involved in a broad range of transactions, including structured capital market transactions, principal acquisitions, and retail structured products, the development of fund and lending products for high-net-worth and hedge fund clients, and the development of the firm’s ship finance and export credit capabilities. Prior to joining Macquarie, he worked for four years in the tax and audit divisions of PricewaterhouseCoopers and KPMG. Ben holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from the University of Newcastle.
