Carl Ge is a Partner at Hillhouse Investment and Co-Head of its Real Assets business, Rava Partners. Rava Partners is a leading investor in real asset platforms that leverage scale and expertise to deliver innovative asset solutions to drive Asia’s transition into the new economy. Prior to Rava Partners, Carl was a member of the CIO Office at Hillhouse, where he led transactions across a variety of strategies including growth capital, PIPE investments, and corporate buyouts since 2012. Carl has completed a number of the largest buyouts in Asia totaling more than $20 billion, including the privatizations of one of Asia’s largest pan-regional logistics warehouse platforms from the Singapore Stock Exchange and one of Asia’s leading sports and fashion groups from the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. He currently serves on the board of directors of GLP, Belle International, ATLATL Innovation, EZA Hill, among other portfolio companies. Before joining Hillhouse, Carl was part of the inaugural team of Silver Lake’s investment office in Asia. Carl earned his B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
