Geetha is the Chief Impact Investment Officer at the WHO Foundation, with over 20 years of experience in Private Equity, Impact Investing, and Venture Capital, primarily in Africa, Latin America, and Asia. She specializes in gender lens investing, ESG, and health. Her career includes roles such as Head of Impact & ESG at the Abraaj Group, where she was a founding member of the $1 billion Global Health Fund, and Principal at Aureos Capital, where she developed the first PE sustainability index and helped launch pioneering funds focused on the Base of the Pyramid and healthcare in Africa. She also served as Partner - Africa & Global Head of Impact at LGT Impact, focusing on sectors like health, education, and agriculture while serving on the Global Investment Committee. Geetha currently serves on the Advisory Board of the Church Commissioners' £100m impact fund, the Investment Committee of Aleyo Capital in Botswana, and the boards of Nyala Ventures and Okavango Capital Partners, focusing on gender-lens and climate investments. She holds degrees in Finance, an MBA, and an MSc in Management Research from Oxford University.
