Kevin Lu

Partner and Chairman of Asia, Partners Group; Global Fellow, Milken Institute

Dr. Kevin Lu is a Partner and Chairman of Asia at Partners Group, a global private equity firm with $149b AUM. He is on the firm’s Global Executive Board. He chairs the International Advisory Council for PG LIFE, the firm's SDG-focused fund series, and the Board of Directors of Partners Group (Singapore) Pte Ltd. He joined the firm in 2014. Prior to Partners Group, Kevin held senior management positions at the World Bank Group, including as the Director/CFO of the Bank Group’s Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA). He has served on advisory boards for international organizations and government agencies, including the World Bank's Global Infrastructure Facility, IFC’s Impact Management Principles, Monetary Authority of Singapore’s Financial Centre Advisory Panel, the World Economic Forum’s Global Future Council on Investing, the International Experts Advisory Committee of Insurance Asset Management Association of China, and UNCTAD Sustainable Investment Advisory Council. He was named a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum in 2010, and a Future Leader by the Institute of International Finance in 2014. Kevin has published commentaries in the Wall Street Journal, Foreign Policy, Washington Post, Financial Times, and The Straits Times. Kevin is currently an Adjunct Professor of Finance at Columbia Business School, a Lecturer of Management and Executive Fellow at Yale School of Management, and a Global Fellow at Milken Institute.
