Mathieu Chabran

Co-Founder, Tikehau Capital

Mr. Mathieu Chabran is a financial entrepreneur. He co-founded Tikehau Capital in 2004 with Antoine Flamarion, his former colleague at Merrill Lynch. Over the past 20 years, Tikehau Capital has considerably diversified its activities and has established itself as a European leader in the alternative asset management industry, with €47.1bn of assets under management (at 30 Sept 2024) and more than 767 employees across 17 offices around the world, with a current market capitalization of €4bn.Leveraging its €3.1bn of shareholders’ equity, Tikehau Capital invests its own capital alongside LPs across four verticals private debt, real assets, private equity and capital markets strategies and seeks to create long-term value for its investors.Mathieu Chabran started his career in 1998 at Merrill Lynch, firstly in Paris within the Principal Investment department and latterly in London in the High Yield Capital Markets department, before joining the Real Estate Debt Market department at Deutsche Bank, London.  He holds degrees from the ESCP Business School in Paris and Sciences Po in Aix-en-Provence.
