She grew up with several autoimmune diseases and earned her Ph.D. in Environmental Medicine at New York University. Jen is trained as both a healthcare researcher and human factors consultant and continues to serve as a patient-centered outcomes researcher at Columbia University Medical Center. Jen utilizes her unique perspective to champion patient engagement in research and industry around the globe and serves as a patient/consumer representative on numerous projects, committees, and advisory boards for the FDA, professional societies, and patient advocacy organizations. She strives to give patients a platform to have their voices and expertise be heard, valued, and included. Jen firmly believes that the future of healthcare is co-designed with patients.
