Jamiyl Flemming

Senior Vice President, Infrastructure and Public Finance, Siebert Williams Shank Co., LLC

Mr. Flemming is a Senior Vice President at Siebert Williams Shank where he serves as the Firm’s ESG Specialist for existing and prospective issuers of ESG bonds across the country. While in this role, Siebert has become a top underwriter of municipal ESG bonds nationally. The Firm has twice been awarded the Bond Buyer Deal of the Year Award in the ESG category, most recently in 2021. He represents Siebert as a member of the Partnership with other non-profits, investors and underwriters that developed a Municipal Issuer Racial Equity and Inclusion Engagement Framework. Mr. Flemming is also a member of the SIFMA Sustainable Task Force, working with the SEC on issues related to ESG disclosure. In addition to his ESG responsibilities, he also serves as a general infrastructure banker covering some of the nation’s most sophisticated municipal issuers in the northeast. Before joining SWS, Mr. Flemming was with Wells Fargo Bank and Jefferies & Company, where he served clients across the nation. He has experience with a variety of financing types beyond ESG bonds, including general obligation, water and wastewater, education, pooled financings, state revolving funds, tobacco, tax increment financings and transportation. Mr. Flemming received his B.A. in Economics from Wesleyan University in Middletown, CT.
