Lois Scott

Lois Scott is a senior finance executive, entrepreneur, and civic leader.  She serves on the boards of FHLBC, KBRA, and Enwave Energy. She previously served on the board of MBIA and as Vice Chair of the Chicago Stock Exchange. She chairs the Advisory Council for Milken Institute’s Program for Excellence and Equity in Public Finance, co-founded the Municipal CFO Forum, Retirement Security Initiative, Equable, and Women in Public Finance.  From 2011-2015, Lois was CFO of the City of Chicago, where she had financial oversight of all City services including O’Hare Airport, Midway Airport, public-private infrastructure partnership contracts, water, and wastewater systems.  Annual budget responsibility totaled approximately $10 billion.  Lois began her career in investment banking and was a partner at DLJ before serving as CEO of a national financial advisory firm with offices in New York, Chicago, Houston, Newark, Columbus, and Anchorage.  She was named a White House Fellow in 1997 and later chaired the Management Committee of Export-Import Bank of the United States.  Lois holds an MBA and BS from Cornell University.
