Tolu Lawrence is the Managing Director of Programs and Partnerships at JUST Capital. She leads cross-sector initiatives that engage large corporations and their investors to improve performance on the American public’s priorities. Tolu has over a decade of experience bringing together leading nonprofits, foundations, and brands to develop and support mission-driven initiatives that further social good. Prior to joining JUST Capital, Tolu led the expansion of the Workplace Advisors program at Promundo where she served on the Steering Group of the Parental Leave Corporate Task Force, and launched social impact partnerships with Procter & Gamble, Archewell Foundation, Cummins, Hello Sunshine, Unilever, etc. She also led Strategic Partnerships at The Representation Project, developing gender equality campaigns and initiatives with socially conscious brands and media companies. Tolu sits on the board of PL+US (Paid Leave for the US), serves as an advisor to Feminist.com and formerly served on Spotify’s Culture Change Collective. She holds a Juris Doctor degree from American University Washington College of Law and is a member of the California Bar.
