Lynn von Koch-Liebert is the Executive Director of the California Strategic Growth Council (SGC), a state entity which works to achieve sustainability, equity, economic prosperity, and quality of life for all Californians through grant programs, strategic initiatives, and interagency coordination. Since 2008, SGC has invested over $2.8 billion in projects strengthening communities and addressing climate change. Lynn has held executive roles in the public and private sector, working nationally and internationally to effectuate change across diverse issues, including affordable housing & homelessness, international development, infrastructure, resiliency and emergency planning.Prior to SGC, Lynn was the Deputy Secretary for Housing at the California Business, Consumer Services and Housing Agency. Lynn previously was a Business Development executive at DynCorp International LLC. She also served in Afghanistan, South Sudan and Jerusalem for the United Nations Office of Project Services. Lynn has a Master’s degree in Public Policy from Princeton University, a Master’s degree in International Security from Cranfield Defense Academy, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Political Science from the University of South Dakota.
