Alex Schueler is a director of business and program development at the Milken Institute. Based in New York, Schueler is responsible for building a local presence for the Institute and managing relationships with New York-based strategic partners and sponsors. Schueler joins the Institute from Wall Street where she has extensive experience in sales, client service, and marketing. Prior to joining the Institute, she spent four years at Guggenheim Partners. Most recently she was vice president of equity sales in the securities division, where she was responsible for selling fundamental and policy research, corporate access, and deals to institutional equity investors. Prior to this she worked in business development for Guggenheim's hedge fund solutions business. Before Guggenheim, Schueler worked in institutional sales and client relationship management at Lord Abbett & Co. in Jersey City. She received a B.A. in Spanish and European studies with a minor in corporate strategy, managerial studies from Vanderbilt University. She is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) as well as a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance.
