Dr. Ozuah is the President and CEO of Montefiore Medicine, leading the 11 hospitals and over 200 clinical centers of Montefiore Health System and Albert Einstein College of Medicine. A nationally recognized physician, executive, researcher, teacher and author he has served as President of Montefiore Health System, Professor and Chairman of Pediatrics at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Physician-in-Chief of Children’s Hospital at Montefiore. Throughout his career, Ozuah has worked to expand access to health care for underserved communities, foster innovations in medical education, and improve the operations of the health system. He holds a medical degree from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, a Master’s in Education from the University of Southern California and a PhD in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. He completed his Internship and Residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Montefiore, and his Post-Doctoral Fellowship at the University of Southern California. He serves on the boards of the NYC Police Foundation, Federal Law Enforcement Foundation, NYC Proton Center and the Greater New York Hospital Association.
