Richard Ditizio is president and chief operating officer of the Milken Institute, where he is responsible for all centers and departments across the organization's global footprint. He joined the Institute after a 25-year career in banking, most recently serving as CEO of Citi Private Bank, a 1,100-employee unit of Citi. Prior to that, Ditizio ran the North American UHNW practice for the bank, leading 24 offices across the United States and Canada. In these roles, he counseled clients on issues such as business succession, philanthropy and the challenges of raising children amid great affluence. His work with UHNW families has been widely profiled in media outlets including the Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, Lifestyles, CNBC and Reuters; he has been the featured speaker at engagements for the Jewish Funders Network, Asia Venture Philanthropy Network, Tiger 21 and others. A recipient of the NSFRE Corporate Executive Award, Ditizio has been involved with numerous nonprofit boards and charitable organizations throughout his career.
