David Daniel Marina is a senior associate on the Business and Program Development programmatic fundraising team at the Milken Institute. In this role, he manages partnerships and engagement across the Milken Institute Health portfolio, specializing in programmatic work related to biomedical innovation and food systems. Additionally, Marina supports the Institute’s fundraising strategy for the annual Future of Health Summit and the Milken Institute Global Conference.

Marina holds a master’s degree in diplomacy and international relations from Seton Hall University, where he focused on international organizations and foreign policy analysis in the LATAM region. During his studies, he conducted research and analysis for the US State Department’s Office of Analysis for South Asia and provided analytical support to the US Department of Defense’s Special Operations Command–South.

Before joining the Milken Institute, Marina served as an educator dedicated to promoting educational equity through culturally sensitive interventions.
