Gretchen Jacobs is an associate of convening and engagement at Milken Institute Strategic Philanthropy. In her role, she guides and advances Strategic Philanthropy’s role in global events and engagement internally and externally. Jacobs brings a breadth of experience and passion for creating community engagement to mobilize capital for change. Prior to this position, Jacobs was with the Aspen Institute, where she managed volunteers, staff, and venue organization for the Aspen Ideas Festival and Aspen Security Forum. Jacobs was born and raised in Steamboat Springs, CO, where she began learning about the value of community engagement. Jacobs has a BA in politics, policy, law, and ethics from Willamette University in Salem, OR. She is based in Washington, DC.
