Lisa Covington is a portfolio, program, and project management professional with over twenty years of experience specializing in both nonprofit and for-profit organizations, spanning education, entertainment, health and wellness, and technology. As a nonprofit executive, Covington’s expertise includes overseeing the execution of both departmental and organizational strategic priorities and initiatives, such as portfolio/program governance, compliance, management, planning, alignment, integration, and implementation, as well as oversight and management of project and program staffing and resources.

As director of project management for the Business and Program Development team, Covington oversees the project management needs across events year-round. This includes shaping, designing, and strategically planning all operational aspects of each event or project.

Covington earned her bachelor’s degree from the American College for the Applied Arts, London, and studied project management at UCLA. She is a certified project management professional and PMO-certified practitioner through the global Project Management Institute. Covington enjoys swimming, running, kayaking, and hiking and is passionate about volunteering with organizations such as the Kollab Youth Development Program, TreePeople, and Free Mom Hugs.
